Future Beats comes as a series of .MID files, each containing multiple tracks of like-minded parts: multiple drum tracks, basses, synths etc., all of which can be mixed, matched, and looped to create complete beats from within one file.
Future Beats parts can also be used individually; to enhance music previously recorded or in production: improve a track with some new cutting edge drums, add a bubbling acid bassline etc.
Because Future Beats has been generated from a note, rather than specific sound perspective, the parts – be they individual or collective – can be applied to a wide range of sound sources with equal success.
Although the beats used standard GM mapping, you can use Future Beats on an application such as Reason, or a freebie plug-in like ERS Drums, and have separate control over individual drum sounds and effects.
Future Beats can be loaded into any application that can load a Standard MIDI File. This includes all major sequencers on both PC and Mac platforms, plus workstations such as Yamaha Motif or Korg Triton.
